Operation Lifeline is JAVC’s scheduled veteran transportation program. We provide rides across Mohave County to medical care, VA services, and other essential appointments.
Why We Call It Operation Lifeline
For many veterans, transportation is not simply a convenience—it is the connection to medical treatment, VA care, legal services, housing appointments, and other essential resources. JAVC vehicles have traveled tens of thousands of miles supporting veterans across Mohave County and beyond. For veterans who do not have reliable transportation, that service can be the difference between reaching critical care and missing it. That is why we call the program Operation Lifeline.
It is a scheduled veteran ride service—not 911 response, ambulance or EMS service, emergency medical transport, funeral or mortuary service, or transportation of deceased persons. JAVC does not respond to emergencies or remove deceased persons. For an emergency, call 911.

How It Works
- JAVC vehicles provide scheduled transportation for veterans.
- PASS-certified volunteer drivers support the program.
- Priority is given when possible to veterans with mobility needs and urgent medical appointments.
- Requests are first-come, first-served based on capacity and scheduling.

In 2026, JAVC has provided approximately 419 veteran transportation services and driven nearly 40,000 miles supporting veterans across Mohave County and beyond.
