Our Tiny Home Mission
At the Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council (JAVC), we believe every veteran deserves a safe, dignified place to call home. Too many of our nation’s heroes struggle with homelessness, instability, or the challenges of transitioning back into civilian life. The Tiny Homes Project is our answer: a permanent, supportive community where veterans can live with dignity, stability, and hope.
The Vision: A Veteran Tiny Home Village
Working with Selberg & Associates, JAVC has developed a concept plan for a 70-unit Tiny Home Village in Mohave County. Each home will be built using Boxabl units — durable, modern, and designed for efficiency.
This village will provide more than housing. It will be a place where veterans can:
- Live independently in their own home
- Access support services that promote long-term stability
- Connect with peers who share their experiences
- Rebuild their lives in a safe, welcoming community
From Dream to Reality
We’ve already built Seven tiny homes, and once ground is broken, they will be moved to the new property as part of the foundation for the larger village. With city water and sewer access already available, the project is set up for major cost savings and faster progress.
A recent generous donation from Marcia Peterson — $35,510 — has given this project even greater momentum. And with community support, we’re ready to take the next steps.

💙 Sponsor a Tiny Home -Giving Options:
Your gift supports the construction, placement, and development of the Veteran Tiny Home Village. Sponsorships fund the build-out of homes, furnishings, utilities, and community spaces — creating a lasting impact for generations of veterans.
🏠 Full Home Sponsor – $50,000
Funds the construction and placement of a complete Boxabl unit within the village.
🛋️ Half Home Sponsor – $25,000
Shares the cost of building and placing a unit in the community.
🪑 Furnish a Home – $2,500
Provides essential furniture and appliances to make a unit move-in ready.
🌳 Outdoor & Community Spaces – $1,500
Helps create welcoming green spaces, walkways, and gathering areas.
💡 Community Supporter – $1,000
Supports infrastructure, utilities, and shared spaces that make the village thrive.
🧱 Memorial Paver – $150
Leave an everlasting tribute to a veteran. Each engraved paver will be placed along the village sidewalks, honoring those who served while supporting the future of veterans in need.
